New Life International Foundation For Children is a Christian, not-for-profit organization based in Auburn, Washington. On October 26, 2004 we received our Certificate of Incorporation from the State of Washington for a Non-Profit Corporation. We then applied for and received our 501 (c) (3) status from the IRS in 2005. This Foundation has an eight member Board of Directors, comprised of qualified individuals with impressive higher-education credentials.
Our mission is to support an indigenous work to care for and educate the poor and orphaned children of Africa and one of the organizations we have chosen to support is The New Life Foundation in Moshi, Tanzania, established by Glorious and Josephine Shoo. The Board has determinded they are a very dedicated and credible African couple committed to caring for the children that they serve. Their references include World Vision and Compassion International. Their vision is to see the lives of impoverished children changed through the Word of God, meeting their basic needs, and receiving a quality education.
Our eight board members volunteer their time and services, seven of them have been to Africa. By volunteering, the board has been able to send 98 cents of every donated dollar to care for and benefit the children.
